Cryogenics Stream

An increasing number of the world’s economies are firmly placing LNG – a reliable, cleaner and more-efficient fuel – into their energy portfolio mix as a response to growing energy demand, security concerns and increasingly stringent environmental regulations. Given the fundamental role cryogenics plays in the LNG value chain, it is inevitable that as the world’s appetite for LNG expands, so does the industry’s demand for developments in cryogenic engineering.

The Cryogenics Centres of Technical Excellence (CoTEs) Stream will explore the latest developments in cryogenics as it applies to the LNG industry.

Session details to be announced May 2012. To be informed when session details become available please register your interest.

This Stream is held in partnership with the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR). The IIR is the only independent intergovernmental science and technology based organization which promotes knowledge of refrigeration and associated technologies that improve quality of life in a cost-effective and environmentally sustainable manner, and deals with all refrigeration technologies and applications including low-temperature technology and liquefied gas technology.
