Offshore & Subsea Technology Stream
Starting from rather humble beginnings as a rig on piles in a lake, over a century of advancement has led the offshore industry to become a critical player in meeting the world’s escalating energy demands. Today, true to its legacy of innovation, the industry continues to move to new frontiers as economic necessity compels operators to drill in remoter, deeper and harsher environments. Subsea technology plays a central role in this endeavor as demonstrated by the expectation that the global 2011 to 2015 subsea capital expenditure will total to more than $94 billion.
The Offshore & Subsea Technology Centres of Technical Excellence (CoTEs) Stream will examine the latest advances in technological innovation that further cement the offshore and subsea industry’s crucial role in contributing to the global energy supply.
Session details to be announced May 2012. To be informed when session details become available please register your interest.
