Power Generation Stream
It is widely recognised that that fossil fuels will remain the main fuel for power generation until 2030, and many deem natural gas – the cleanest burning of fossil fuels – as the fuel of choice while transitioning to a low-carbon global economy. Consequently, gas-fired power generation is poised to take center stage in delivering secure and affordable power while economies work towards emission reduction targets over the medium-term.
The Power Generation Centres of Technical Excellence (CoTEs) Stream will showcase technological advancements that lead to superior efficiency and emission-performance of gas-fired power generation.
