With 2012 marking the British gas industry’s 200th anniversary, over 100 years of onshore exploration and 40 years of offshore operations in hostile North Sea, it is no surprise that the UK is a centre of excellence in its own right. Home to an immense wealth of world-class skills, experience and expertise, the UK continues to be at the forefront of innovation by pioneering novel solutions to industry challenges, while developing globally-respected technical, safety and environmental standards.
The UK Innovation Centres of Technical Excellence (CoTEs) Stream will feature the Best of British by showcasing leading research and technological developments that touch upon the various stages of the gas supply chain
